ABOUT
We are Rise Against Abuse, a Scotland-based non-profit Community Interest Company committed to educating and supporting people affected by domestic abuse. Founded by survivors in response to the ongoing cycle of abuse, we work across communities to raise awareness of abusive relationship dynamics and provide practical support to those impacted.
We deliver a range of services, including abuse awareness and education, tailored courses and workshops, legal guidance, and intervention programmes that help participants recognise warning signs and access safety planning and empowerment tools.
One of our main programmes is the Freedom Programme, a 12-week course for women and teens that explores the attitudes and beliefs behind abusive behaviour and helps participants understand its impact on themselves and others. We also offer programmes specifically for men who want to recognise, challenge, and change harmful behaviours.
Our mission is to improve quality of life for victims and survivors, inform the public and professionals about domestic abuse, and empower individuals to grow, heal, and build healthier relationships.

Our Mission
is to break the cycle of domestic abuse by educating communities, empowering survivors, supporting behaviour change, and building healthier relationships for individuals and families in Scotland and across the UK.
